Sales – John Butler

Since leaving school, John has always been keen on cars and could often be found cleaning his own car, so a career in vehicle valeting was an obvious choice for him. John has been employed by Shurlock Row Garage since June 1999, having come from Leaseplan in Datchet.

John’s role at Shurlock Row when he joined was to maintain the new and used stock for cleaning and making sure that all new cars were ready for their PDI and fully valeted ready for the customer.

During that period, John also covered on the petrol pumps that were at Broadmoor Road when required as the garage was a busy place for petrol sales for the local community and passing traffic to Maidenhead and Twyford.

Having a keen interest in cars, John got involved in the sales department by helping out on Sundays and in May 2006 joined the sales team as sales executive along with the role of the company valeter and continues to assist the cleaning of the used car department today.

John has built up a good relationship with his customers and they often come back to purchase again from him.
