FAQ
Your frequently asked questions:-
- Q:Do you accept my current car in part exchange?
A:Yes, providing the car is taxed and MOT’d - Q:Do you take credit card as payment?
A:We can take a deposit only on a credit card (up to £500). Balance of payment can be by either, debit card, cash, personal cheque or bankers draft/building society cheque. Please note that either draft or cheque payments MUST be cleared prior to collection - Q:Can you tell me what my car is worth over the phone?
A:We appreciate that not everyone lives local to us, so we can give an approximate valuation, but this will always be subject to re-evaluation when viewed and any discrepancies will be taken into account and a cash payment of the difference will be required. When valuing a vehicle over the phone, we will always value it on the lower side so please bear this in mind. - Q:I need to borrow money to purchase my next car. Do you offer finance?
A:Yes we do. We have a great relationship with 3 motor finance companies and between them, they cater for the majority of people, even those with previous credit history. - Q: Do you offer a warranty with the car?
A:Yes. As standard, we offer a 3 months parts and labour warranty on our cars (excludes part exchange clearance vehicles under £1,500). We do offer the facility to upgrade your warranty up to 15 months for an additional premium. - Q:Do you offer any drive-away insurance?
A: No, unfortunately we do not. We can put you in touch with an insurance broker who we deal with who will be pleased to quote. - Q:I’m travelling a long distance to come and view/test-drive/buy a car. Will you ‘hold’ the vehicle for me until I arrive?
A:Yes, provided you have contacted us first and made an appointment with us. We will then put the car on ‘Reserve’ until you have had the opportunity to view/test-drive. You are under no obligation to buy. - Q:Will the car I’m interested in purchasing come with a new MOT and be serviced?
A:In most cases, we do put a new MOT on the vehicle that you are looking to purchase. However, if there is more than 7 months remaining on its current MOT, then we issue the car with its current certificate. As with servicing. If a car is due its next service then yes of course, we will put the car into our service department for an annual interim service. Should the car you are interested in purchasing have been serviced within the last 5,000 miles, then we will give the vehicle a PDi check and if anything is required then this will be done. - Q:Do you offer a delivery service?
A:This is possible. However, there would be an additional cost to cover delivery, i.e fuel, return train fare. - Q:If I purchase a vehicle from you, is there a nearby railway station that you can pick me up from?
A:Yes. We often collect people from Twyford railway station for those travelling a distance to come and collect their car. Twyford station is on the main Great Western Railway line and there are frequent local stopping services from Paddington. The journey from London Paddington to Twyford is approx 40 minutes.
